Wow, your work is so……..thoughtful. Is that a compliment??? I have seen personal work that really isn’t all that thought provoking and well deep. Your images are simple yet tell an incredible story. You are an inspiration. Thank you
Your work is stripped bare and reveals honest emotions. Is this sexy, well yes, if you take a follow up image and include your head. Isn’t the brain the center of true, lasting sex appeal?
Sexy by whose standards? Sexy should be more about how you feel than how you look…who can maintain a 21 year old flat stomach after having a few kids? And why should we be expected to?
This one has been sticking with me. I think it’s because these are our battle scars. It’s like showing the place where the bullet hit you or the knife went in. They are the marks of having survived something so primal and yet so astonishing. After looking at this, I’m trying to see my scarred body as a testament to what it is capable of. It made beautiful, healthy babies and I find myself oddly grateful that it did what it needed to do for that to happen, even if it left me sagging and puckered and jiggly.

Thanks so much for posting this. It cut right to the quick of my heart this morning. Still processing…
an author friend named jonalyn fincher once said “your body is a map of where you’ve been”… i see this through and through in this photo. thank you.
This is some powerful stuff, lady.
Love this one. So appreciate your honesty.
Did you sneak into my house and snap a picture of my belly! I don’t know if it’s sexy but after my 4 sweet kiddies it sure is reality
